He's the most logical, common sense thinker on the planet. He's all about what makes sense as far as our rights as individuals, and makes no apologies about it. He speaks his mind without sugar-coating for the weak. I love the man!

which opinion of his do you despise?
His opinions about hunting, baiting (ie jelly donuts to catch bears), assault weapons ownership/access, and most of the other issues the nra lobbies for that put innocent citizens at risk and facilitate the use of guns to perpetrate violent crimes, including a complete lack of ownership accountability once a gun is purchased. I love his anti-drug stance because him being a former hard rocker he's a huge aberration to a messed up culture, but otherwise the only noise he can make that has any value at all imo is with his guitar.
You do realize that people that legally own assault weapons tend to not be the ones using them in crimes, do you not?

Do you realize that the ones who deal them in the black market are the ones who buy them legally? stfu, thx.

LOL, would you like to back that up with some facts? I doubt you will find any to support you. Incapable of carrying on a civil conversation when you have no statistics to back up your lies, hmm?

Guns make society dangerous. Notice that the guy who killed 48 people went after easy targets. If those people had guns, maybe they wouldn't have been such easy targets. All it would've taken is one to shoot back.

No statistics yet, hmm? I think you will find that anyone buying legal guns for the purpose of selling them on the black market would have a short-lived career as a gun-runner. Too easy to trace down the original owner. Filing the serial numbers off does no good, they have a technique where they use a certain acid on the filed area and it reveals the numbers that were stamped. :)

I think you need to stfu, at least until you can support your nonsensical ramblings.

I see this turning into a P&N flamefest.

I love Nugent.
But whether you agree with him or not, he's very entertaining to listen to. The good thing is that you know exactly what he thinks. There is no guessing. Everything is right out in the open.

He should run for president. I would actually vote.

I heard on NPR that he is thinking of running for governor in Michigan... Good or no? I doubt he will anyway.

I agree. I listend to quite a few speakers with extreme political views on both sides when I was in college and while I didn't always agree with them it was usually VERY entertaining to hear their takes and to watch the fireworks in the Q&A sessions.

he is a good guitar player

i probably agree with 50% of his politics, but he is a bit extreme on some issues

he has a forum on his web site, you can go there and see some of his posts, he doesn't do many, his wife is more involved with it i think

"for that put innocent citizens at risk and facilitate the use of guns to perpetrate violent crimes"

That quote is pure foolishness! Typical "do-gooder liberal"!

I like Ted, but he is a little too far to the "Left" for me!

it only the dumbasses at our school had bought ted nugent instead of michael moore. then i might have considered going.

but no.. they bought michael moore. and it costed money.

i'm not about to waste my money. even to boo michael moore.
