I remember they sued that guy who had the People Eating Tasty Animals website and made him take it down. Then they pretty much stole his domain name. IIRC they are constantly suing people over People Eating Tasty Animals paraphanalia. That is when they aren't harrassing law abiding citizens who enjoy a burger or wear leather.

And then you'd have to go around definding stupid statements like trout are as smart as dogs. And as we all know a dog is as smart as a 2 year old child so by proxy you'd have to defend the idea that a trout is equal to a child. Yikes....

That does sound a little bitter. I pictured a much more jovial group from the pie tossing thing.

Yep. Peta and the NRA seem a lot alike to me. They both have general ideas that sound great, but both are run by extremist.

I seem to remember reading an interview or article somewhere about the Prez of PETA. He was saying something about how their ultimate goal/dream is a world where all animals live in harmony....and even animals won't eat other animals. Nutty mofo. I think that idea sounds generally stupid.

For the life of me I can't remember where I read that....in all likelihood it was probably something linked here on ATOT.

I remember hearing about them paying the legal fees of some guy that was firebombing laboratories. PETA-run animal shelters also kill a much larger percentage of animals than locally run animal shelters, go figure.
