i was watching spiderman in the theatres, and this little kid about 5-6 years old wouldnt shutup during the whole movie. he'd ask his parents every imaginable question, and then half way through this guy yelled out "STFU" in the direction of the kid...

that was a classsy moment

Some people made comments such as:

"Ohhhhhhhhh...watch out! He gonna smack you!"

"You call that a gun?"

"That's right, fool"

"You call that fast?"

"You call that a jet?"

and some more sarcastic comments that I care not to remember, but I do remember that I found it extremely annoying in the absence of cell-phones going off.

I think most of these are from nerds, die-hard fans, or 40-something 'cool guys', but I found it to be annoying when they just blurted out their comments and there was silence from the audience instead of laughs or the adoration that they were expecting.

Oh another comment that I remember now that was kind of funny:

<Wolverine extends his claws in the direction of a house cat>

"Watch out pussy!"

Do you guys have this same problem or care to comment about this?

I F'ing hate this.

But that means they'd have to be considerate of other people.

these people, like the A$$hats that leave their cellphones on should be dragged out and beaten with flashlights and then tied there so that when i leave after the movie is over i can beat them with a flashlight

if you don't like to hear my phone ring then don't come to the movies. I refuse to turn my cell phone off or even put it on vibration. I see no reason why i should miss immportant phone call just because i watching a movie

I'll second that and top it with a Skittle Shower. I don't care how long you spent gelling your hair to look like Neo, shut the f*ck up and watch the movie.

And if you didn't watch the first Matrix, then please leave. Now. As in "before the opening previews."

I can't stand them. They piss me off so much, people are so inconsiderate these days. They should all be beat. I remember years ago, I was watching The Exorcist, and a group of like 12 people would not shut up. One of them pretended he was snoring the whole time. People should not be allowed in movies if there going to be disruptive.

************************************************************
*** Potential Spoiler for those of you who may not have seen X2 yet ... ***
************************************************************

When I saw X2 last night for the 2nd time the guy behind me started saying "Oh no, Magneto is going to kill all the humans now!" ... If I didn't already see the movie and know thats what was gonna happen, I woulda been pissed, even if he said it only about 30 seconds before they make it obvious that thats his plan. I also got annoyed during the Matrix previews cuz he kept talking saying "This is the Matrix! .. Ohhh", and "When is this movie coming out? They hardly make it obvious when the movie is coming out! If I didn't concentrate I wouldn't have seen the date!" ... What are you living under a rock man? Everywhere on TV they're talking about the Matrix Reloaded!

Thankfully he didn't talk too much more during the movie.

One thing I did notice though - Stryker's glasses look like they have metal in them when he goes to talk to Magneto! I know they do the whole metal scan on you before you go in, but obviously small traces of metal (like iron in your blood) don't get picked up, but Magneto was still able to use it to torch everyone. Oh well.
