The peanut butter and bacon thing is referenced in the Elvis cookbook. IIRC, this sandwich was invented at some restaurant in Colorado, and the King would fly out there with his friends just to eat these things. They took a loaf of bread, scooped out the inside, smeared the inside with peanut butter, and stuffed it with a pound of bacon or something. Can you say "Heart Attack"?

Sounds good, though.
