What do you think of opty 170 CCBWE 0551UPMW

Hi guys,

I was trying to find a OPTY 170 CCBWE 0551VPMW but they are very rare. What do you think of this stepping: CCBWE 0551UPMW and CCBWE 0550UPMW for OCing on air?

That is what I am running in the rig in my signature.

It is decent.

was it difficult to achieve 2500? The other option I have is the 0551 XPMW

they are a decent stepping. My old one did 2.8Hz no sweat. Should average from 2.6-2.8 with minimal fuss.

I am running a 170 0550 UPMW @ 2.7 with a 3.3% volt increase on my Neo2. It runs it at stock volts, but the second core wants a touch more volts to be prime stable.

Anything under this runs great on stock volts. It will go faster, but it takes too mcuh voltage. It is also possible that the board is holding me back, but I have not tested its highest FSB tho. Thats cool tho. sice I prefer to go the fastest possible on the lowest volts.

Very easy.

It booted at 2500 at 1.4V. I just kept backing the voltage down until I liked what I had.
