Awesome! My first site was for my daughter, it was a geocities page and didn't look even close to as nice as yours.

If you like building sites, I'd recommend taking a class on Dreamweaver, and even learning Photoshop!! There's so much you can do, and it seems like you have a great headstart already!

Thanks for the kind words :) I'm a film studie/media studies major so I'm trying to figure out final cut pro/ premiere/ etc. but love the challange of putting this together for my little niece... I may actually dig into dreamweaver a bit - have heard great things about it..I currently use about 5% of photoshops capabilities- i really should take a course on it...I'm going to churn away on updating the layout a bit more but thank you so much for your thoughts..

If your interested in PhotoShop, a good place to learn Photoshop is http://www.hplearningcenter.com/.

They have beginner classes and advanced. This is where I learned a lot about PS as well as browsing a few forums and tutorials.
The best part about hplearningcenter is that they are free classes and actually taught by professors. You get homework and quizes, but of course none of it counts for anything but your own benefit. They might even have courses on Priemere, and final cut pro, but I'm not sure about that. I know they offer a lot of different things.

Good Luck!

Ripplehost - based on info that you provided ;)

Hey, sorry for the delay in replying... It's a nikon 3100.. I didn't take the pictures - my bro-in-law did.. I tweaked the interface a bit- added a "PICTURES" page.. Would love to hear what you guys think :)
