What do you think of my one buddies band?

Capt. Izor and the Space Cadets have been around for a little while now. Little history for you'. Captain Isaac Izor was born in the 80's. His parents didn't want him so they blasted him off to the moon. There he was taken in by the moon dogs. The moon dogs had really good parenting skills and taught Isaac everything he needed to know, including how to play guitar. But one day the moon dogs came under attack by the rellikgods. The rellikgods started burning and pillaging the moon dog villages, and stealing all of their oh so important fuel. So Isaac and the moon dogs retaliated. They fought bravely, but there were too many rellikgods, so the moon dogs sent Isaac off to find help in their space sailing ship named Mary Jane, and the last of their fuel.. Isaac eventually found help on the planet of Mars. He met these two guys named Danny Bates and Laine Smith and they were really good at playing music. So Isaac took them back to the moon where through their electrifying music they drove off the rellikgods and save the moon dogs. When the war had ended the moon dogs thanked Isaac and his friends Danny and Laine joined him as his space cadets. Then after a tearful goodbye to the moon dogs Captain Isaac Izor and his space cadets took sail space, sailing the seven galaxies, saving human and space creatures alike with their music.

listen, i have a live cd and demo cd if anyone wants i can email it to them, there are some great songs on there as well... and the lead singer is the lead guitarist, and i feel that he is pretty damn good. lemme know 😀

I gotta say...not bad! Not bad at all! If they got a decent producer, they could have a pretty cool sound.

The backstory is cute, but I could see getting sick of that really quick 😉

EDIT Holy crap! They're in Bowling Green??? I'm like 15 minutes from there!

so there are two good reviews... but then the other threads that get crappy reviews get even more posters... wtf.

You'll find that people need to criticize more than compliment.

I think they should keep their day jobs... for the time being

edit: The lyrics doesn't jump at me, I find myself listening to the jam but ignoring the guy singing so the songs fail in that regard. So at least the instrumentals get my attention... not so much for the vocalist.

Dude, the singer is the guitarist. It take a ton of skill to be able to do both.

I'll agree that they have a pretty good guitarist. He kind of reminded me of some of the Allman Brothers' stuff. But the singer...I'm not quite sure he's meant to be singing this type of music.
