- 2 * Kingston HyperX (KHX3200/512), 512 MB PC3200 DDR (400 Mhz)
- Thermaltake Xaser III V2000A Silver, Aluminum

Is there anything that I should of changed?

you should be extremely happy with that computer. i am also finally going back to intel. my a7n8x-deluxe is nice but i just can't stay on this side of the camp much longer.

amorse2183 I don't have a problem with AMD it's just that I have always had INTEL and never had any issues with my system. So I just stick with what works for me. Yeah and I'm going to be extremely happy.

as you should. i dont pick one over the other. i have actually historically gone back and forth between the 2, but my last 2 motherboard/cpu upgrades have been amd. but come this summer when i upgradge again i shall go intel.

Where's your DVD-/+R/W??? Neon/blinky lights??? And with that 550 Antec PSU you should definitely have a cigarette lighter adapter and a set of jumper cables attached in case your car battery dies.

Get with the program!

j/k Very nice setup.

You must realize, some people actually spend more time using their computer than looking at it. 😉

Now, I think you're forgetting one critical component: a UPS. 😱

Very Similar to my rig:
P4P800 Deluxe
2.4C
2X256MB Kingston HyperX PC3500
9700Pro AIW

I'm not so impressed with PAT, which though it does give a performance boost, does not do much if you o/c. I found for best stability I run 260MHz FSB. Even more stable than 200MHz, go figure! I usually let SPD detect my memory timings, and pretty much always leave turbo on. Pat doesn't run on anything but 1:1. You'll be happy, but there are a few bugs.

Heh, I just put a similar system together too, just took the lower road than you on almost every component, lol

P4 2.4C 800 fsb
Abit IS7-E 865pe mobo
2x512 PC2700 Kingston ram
Powercolor 9700-np
120GB Western Dig hd ($40 from sweet Omax deal)
TDK 24x burner (is there really a difference between waiting 7 mins and 3 mins for a cd? not to me)
No DVD (got a PS2 w/ Boss 5.1 system, don't need to watch dvds on comp, heh)
Antec PlusView 1000AMG case w/ 400 watt Allied psu (ohhh so nice, bastard weigts 30+ pds loaded though!)

Total mine cost $730, I'm so happy with it. Best system I ever built, and one of the cheapest too!

Edit: btw, performance on mine is great, I anticipate yours is the same, only just slightly better 😉 (but I'd rather have the extra $$ in my pocket).
