Seriously, I saw this thread and thought"Great, another inane Hal9000 post". but it's not Hal, yet with the low post count , could still be.


And Garbage odour is bad, especially when it contains large amounts of proteins.

I just cleaned out the fridge. There was half of a roast beef sub that was kind of old. I split it among the dogs. I often go a month between taking the trash to the garbage dump & have gotten in the habit of making sure there's nothing in the garbage that will eventually start to smell bad.

Our first house was a house that had caught on fire and been abandoned, we bought it from the owner and remodeled the whole thing. The fridge had food in it that was about 6 months old with no electricity, the smell was...robust.

We did clean the fridge and sell it for $300.
