And your source for this information is .. Trump@RetardRally?

I know its fake news to you but

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/11/business/trump-tax-cuts-revenue.html

The argument he made before is that because total tax receipts went up the tax cut 'paid for itself'. By this logic if a business was supposed to make $1,000,000 more this year and then changes policies which cause it to make $1 more instead that the policy change was good because you still increased profits.

In reality of course that's the sort of change that gets you fired for incompetence.

Trumpism is a quasi-religious experience involving a leap of faith. Otherwise known as falling for the world's greatest con artist.

Current information for you:

https://www.foxbusiness.com/persona...s-up-19-now-in-line-with-2018-levels-irs-says

https://www.fool.com/taxes/2019/03/03/bigger-tax-refunds-are-back-heres-why.aspx

Refunds, at this time, are up. But I'm the one that's leaning on faith and not reality...

AOC should be very likable ... she's a strong woman.. but she's so damn stupid.
She's the Dem's version of Sarah Palin.

The point is that ideas don’t have merit based on how new they are. No person with a brain in their head should give a single shit if her ideas are new, they should care if they are good.

Also, conservatives are hardly in a place to complain about a lack of new ideas considering their answer to every problem is ‘cut taxes for rich people’.

Er, is no one going to point to the inherent irony in conservatives calling for new ideas?

Bullshit. This is the first time I have to pay in vs getting a refund. Every fucking year for the past 25 years I got a refund and no I didn't change jobs. Tax cut my ass!

You had to pay so therefore average refunds are not up, even though the IRS has confirmed they are. Got it.

Rob the working poor, give the rich $66000 in additional tax refunds and call it an increase because of averages!

Trump logic.

Most people did get a tax cut this year, this is true. It’s also true that due to this bill most Americans will start paying higher taxes for the rest of their lives, all so rich people could get richer.

They looooove chumps like you.

Passing the bill onto our children is a completely irresponsible thing to do. Republicans and Democrats are both terrible at this. The Dems didn’t do the tax cut so no blame there, but they definitely spend spend spend. There needs to be a party that is for less gov spending.

The Democrats made sure their initiatives were deficit neutral. The republicans do not. One party is fiscally responsible and the other is not.

There needs to be a party that is for less gov spending.

Why?

They don’t make sure it’s deficit neutral lol. And why less spending? Because we are digging ourselves into a debt hole. The gov needs to spend less and be smaller, this should be a no brained but unfortunately isn’t. Politicians get into office by promising more and more, they never run on being honest with people and say we need to cut spending. No politician is honest with their constituents.

For example the ACA reduced the deficit. Republican Medicare expansion and tax cuts increased it.

Why does the government need to spend less and be smaller, specifically? Most developed countries have larger governments that spend more, for example.

Oh, please. The GOP loves govt debt. If they didn't they'd cut spending instead of cutting taxes.

Who the fuck do you think owns US govt securities, anyway? Poor people?

Yeah less spending on the rich and corporations, instead lets increase their taxes to bring back what we lost since Reagan and balance the books!

Gov shouldn’t be spending on corporations, I’m not advocating for that. Few exceptions like research into drugs for rare conditions etc. I despise the thing like the Amazon fiasco where places are bidding to spend the most for them to move there.

They do. The ACA for example made the deficit smaller. Why not just raise taxes instead of spending less?

Our spending is very low by developed nation standards. Why not increase it to their levels instead and simply tax more?

Well, yeh, but that would mean the already obscenely wealthy won't be getting wealthier as fast as they want.
