What do you think of a guy who's too into sports teams?

Serious question - like when you see people with team logos covering everything they own, etc.

They're not getting paid for all the advertising they're doing. It's one thing to be a sports fan. It's another thing to buy overpriced boring-quality clothing with company logos friggin everywhere.

I think they are from whatever city the team that has the logos are from.
If they are wearing multiple different logos, I think that they are very confused, and should pick one and stick with it, or that they are a salesman for shirts with sports logos.

I think he's overcompensating because of his latent homosexuality and isn't fooling anyone with his outrageous attempts to prove how straight he is :p

I laugh at them. One of my coworkers had giant (1-2 foot tall) Illini logos all over his car. I asked him if he was the head Illini cheerleader. The 400lbs of pure beer gut wasn't amused.

I don't care, as long as they don't try to give me crap about my Star Wars books.

I really love college football. I have the average layman's appreciation for the game, which means that I know my team's coach's name, what our mascot is, and I can identify one or two of our better players along with our team colors.

I have friends that know every statistic for every player who ever put on a uniform. They spend long hours chatting about drafts, play calls, speculations, and so on. These guys are close friends, but I can't stand being around them at times because to me its just something that I enjoy watching, but to them its life.

i love sports, but there are definately big fans and fanatics... i'm a big fan of the 49ers.. followed them all my life.. but i don't know all the ins and outs.. i couldn't tell you their offense and defensive coordinators.. and i'm sure there are several players that i don't know...

i dont' think people that like sports are automatically stupid... unless they're raiders fans... sucks to live in the east bay now.. i gotta keep my mouth shut

Somebody who's out of touch with reality and what it really means to be a man. Probably makes them feel like they are smart because they can remember all those players statistics. Probably watches sports on TV and thinks he could coach the team better than the actual coach but would never in a million years have the kind of motivation to actually do something about it. Probably gets drunk and gets in fights a lot. Probably walks around saying stuff like "be a real man!" Probably keeps his brain in his scrotum instead of his cranium.

How is this any different than "what do you think of a guy who's gay"?

Some guys naturally gravitate toward sports, and others naturally gravitate toward... well, other guys.
