I'm going to be testing for my A+ certification at some unknown point in the (hopefully near) future, and I'm not sure which book to buy. I bought "All-in-one A+ Certification Exam Guide, 5th edition" by Michael Meyers/Scott Jernigan at Barnes and Noble and it seems like a good book. But if anyone has experience with multiple books or knows of some secret A+ guide society that rates these things, let me know.
I can always return it and get a different one. I don't plan on opening the included CD for a while.
I have no issues with doing a lot of reading, and would prefer a comprehensive guide rather than one of those "How to pass your test without doing very much studying and then end up not having a clue on a lot of things when you're out in the field" books.
I chose the book I did because it noted itself as also being a good book for use in the field, not just as a study guide.
