Hi, I have one question,, if my geforce 4 ti overclocked to 305-310 core and about 570 memory will get benefit from cpu`s like Clawhammer on 2.2ghz and so on, or it is really on top with AthlonXp on 1700-1800mhz. Because I plan to buy overclock free mobo, and jumped athlon xp cpu to higher levels about 2200+, and wondering if it is not waste of time to wait and buy Clawhammer better for future games. will future games be very cpu dependent in your opinion, and get boost on my Geforce4 with even stronger cpu?? thanks for your advice. My current comp Athlon 1333(266fsb) Pc133 CL2 sdram 256mb. Help me from this dilema.

It depends entirely on what games you play and what settings you play them at. Generally speaking with today's games there is no such thing as a "top CPU" because even in seemingly completely video card limited situations you'll still see a performance gain from getting a faster CPU.

Always buy the fastest CPU you can afford, especially if you plan on pairing it with high-end video cards.
