I heard one theory that said that the mind is processing the current even so rapidly (storing it to memory) that one perceives it both as the present and as an existing memory.

Wow I like that theory. Though it degrades our brains to a x86 processor. Well downgrades for some of us, maybe an upgrade for others.
happens to me all the time.
like when i see something for the first time, couple of hours later when i think about it, i would think that i have seen the same thing before.
Isn't it just the feeling of having gone through something at some time in the past? The question is whether or not you actually did. Perhaps if we all had perfect memories no one would experience it? Hmmm, it seems like I've typed an idea like this before...
A French phrase meaning "previously seen". Used to describe the mental state in which a person, correctly or otherwise, percieves that he has been in a situation before the current time.
