It's extremely light that you barely notice it.

Now that's a classic watch. It goes just as well with a tux, as it does khakis, and it'll never be out of style.

Agreed. Classy without being gaudy. Something like this makes you look like someone who DIDN'T spend everything they had on pretending to have money.

atot has officially dissuaded me from thinking about that watch!

for what it's worth, I'm planning on getting my first tattoo at some point in the next 2-3 months, on my forearm.

Make it special, don't just buy some crap off the wall. If you can't think of anything special, maybe a tattoo isn't the best idea ;^)

I know it's like super nerdy, but I want this on my forearm.

it looks like two spaghetti dicks attacking each other

Sweet merciful crap that is one hideous POS. I am wearing one of these, so obviously I have fairly traditional taste in watches, but that Ecko is pug-fugly by any standard IMO.

Also, a tasteful, classy watch.

There are people who haven't liked the watch when they saw it, but I get far more compliments than I do "omg that's fugly!" guess you can't please everyone 🙂

Do these people who compliment your watch live in a double wide, or only a single wide?

umm trailer trash HATE anything blingy so I'm not exactly sure how you expect that insult to be valid. Good try I suppose. My dentist complimented me as did the person at the BWM dealership when I was picking up my EX bosses car. I wouldn't expect anyone on ATOT to get fashion at all.

Relatively few people would openly tell you that your watch is hideous - many of them would just think less of you. Respectfully I think the "Iced General" is just awful, but as long as you like it, by all means enjoy yourself!

I've had plenty of people tell me they didn't like it "too blingy" "too big" "kind of ugly and gawdy" but many have walked up out of nowhere to comment on how they like it, doubtful those people thought it was hideous because they wouldn't waste their time to say otherwise. Watches like this appeal to a different crowd of people, and for every person who finds it hideous there will be one who likes it. If millions of them are being sold around the world, some people somewhere have to like them. And if you step up to the real deal, like a Jacob & Co, they can cost up to a million bucks. The typical ATOTer isn't the target audience for this type of watch. But than again the people I hang around typically have huge shiny rims and spend more money than just about anything, so a watch that blinds you in the sun would be desired apparel.

Emo tool? Emo's would never touch anything Ecko, while that's an Ecko watch I particularly like. Marc does have some that are awesome. I had a Iced General from him a few years back and got tons of compliments on it everywhere I went. Ecko watches are great quality, I own 3 and they never seem to break.

linky to Iced General probably too flashy for most here, but it looks incredible in person.

another clean ass one I like it because you can go from blingy to elegant to business like with all the interchangeable faces.

Sweet Jesus, you don't dress like Flavor Flav do you ?

No, I don't own a neckless with a big ass clock or a viking helmet. I wear Ecko and nothing else. I think Flav prefers Sean John.

Well it would be a lot better if you just went for the whole outfit then, otherwise it just looks really weird.

nice watch, I like classic watches

I have to ask what exactly is the look you are going for when you where a watch with a cover with a skull design made with diamonds. I have a few sarcastic answers, but I am really just curious.

And since we are providing points of comparison, my current watch is this one.

I figured I'd ask the watch gurus of AT... I kinda dig it 😱

as the weather warms up and I start breaking out the short sleeved shirts (moreso than ever now that I won't be working in a temperature controlled data center come this spring/summer) my wrist keeps looking bare. I've been on the fence about watch vs bracelet and this seemed to fit the bill for a casual watch just to wear to the office while wearing jeans and a t-shirt, but I'm sure AT's going to tell me it sucks and give me better suggestions 😛
It'd go better with your assless chaps.

Diesel > Ecko
