What do you think about this portable AC?

Landlord wants me to jump through hoops to install my window AC, so I am thinking about getting this portable one:
Fedders 7000 BTU
Anyone hear of "Fedders?" Are they reliable? Also, how efficient are portable AC's in terms of power relative to window AC's?
I am picking a 1 year old used one for $200 tonite. Seems like a good deal, since a refurbished one sells for $500+ plus shipping.

Fedders is a very large company that makes Small A/C machines. For the amount of sales they do, they have remarably few problems.

BTW, noone has a FS ad for less than $350, but these guys let me have it for 200, because that's the price I put in the WTB ad :D

Cool. I'm talking to some guy right now about a WindChaser PAC9. 9000btu in my 12x10 room. Overkill, but I love it.

Actually, mine is a bit underpowered for my living room, which is about 15x30 ft with the kitchen. I guess if it gets really hot, I'll roll it into the bedroom and stay there.
