it's kinda cute, but I don't think it has staying power. You might get sick of it after awhile...and that price tag :eek:uch:

It's three pieces guys not one piece shaped like Mickeys silhouette.......
Anyway, I've managed to convince her that maybe something different should be considered and she LOVED the West Elm Reeve in Marble. So I think we are going to pair that coffee table with the sectional I posted earlier to get a look similar to this. Maybe a long haired goat rug and some stump style end tables compliment the set.

I also showed her the Capiz Tiered Chandelier to compliment the entry way and she thinks that it would look great there or over the dining room table.

end of the day ..is it functional? pain in the ass to move around when you get off your sectional couch. I like nice things, but if there isn't room for it....say fuck it.

Not to my taste, but I'm not living there. I have a real aversion to white, and tend to prefer rustic woods. Looks like a nice setup though.

Standard coffee table height is pretty much perfectly useless for anything. Kitchen table height is more practical.

I think coffee tables must be the hardest decision in any new home. Very integral part of a home.

Take that $500 you saved and buy a couple of vintage slot machines to use as end tables. Win-win (literally).

Haha I wish. We purchased the Coronado sofa tonight that I linked to in the first page and while we were at the store decided that the Jaipur Bedroom Set would look great in the master so we purchased the set with the king size bed frame and headboard.

How tall are you? That footboard might be a problem if you are on the noble end of the height scale.

I'm only 6'0 tall so at 81" the king should be plenty long. I need your guys' help though.
I was ready to pull the trigger on the West Elm Reeve in Marble coffee table but then realized it's only 30" in diameter. The living room in the house is on the larger size at 21' x 16' so we are thinking something in the 40" range would look better.
We love the look of the marble top and pecan bottom but 30" is just to small. I'm looking online now but haven't found anything so any suggestions would be appreciated even if mid century modern isn't ATOT's style.

Remember, the furniture you buy today will depreciate faster than damned near anything else on earth.

For instance, we bought these three pieces at an estate auction. The elderly couple passed away within a few months of each other. They had money, took care of their possessions, and in the end, I hope they enjoyed the stuff they'd bought, because we bought some of their goods for pennies on the dollar.

Lamp table: https://qualityfurniturediscounts.com/hekman-copley-place-oval-lamp-table.html

End table: https://qualityfurniturediscounts.com/hekman-copley-place-rectangular-end-table.html

All gorgeous pieces from Hekman, all very expensive. We paid $45 for the coffee table and $35 each for the smaller tables. They are quite nice...one side table is now being used as a printer stand, the other is being used as intended--side table--and the coffee table is in my shed. It's just too damned big for our smallish house. It fit fine in the house we owned when we bought the furniture, but we downsized and now have oversized stuff crammed into 1/3 less space.

C'est la vie.

Not a fan at all. Coffee tables shouldn't be round, they should be rectangular or more oval shaped.

Completely agree. The coffee table should be nearly the full length of the main couch, so everyone can put their feet up if they want to, or be able to easily put their drink down or whatever. I currently have an old-ass oval shaped one and it works, but I think I'd prefer a rectangular table.

What is the return policy? What I learned to do was to let my GF get things to realize she hated it, and then return it.

Things look a lot different in the house than in the picture. Not only looks, but application is going to suck with that table.
