Not really. I could go out into the parking lot of the plant where I work and find plenty of gun racks and skoal. Some communities still close the schools on the first day of deer hunting season (not even joking).

Think Churches instead of convience marts. ABC liquor stores, though it goes for pretty much all of the east coast it seems. Strip joints in between the churches. Lots of empty land, with some abandon homes in them, falling apart no less. A small cluster of "normal" shops, IE Bestbuy, Target, Wal-mart, Malls, Theatres, etc.. all on/off one major road. Along with people who give a rats behind about public education, or so it seems with the funding problems.

Best of All, DIRT CHEAP PROPERTY. 3000Sq. Feet, 3 Car garage, decent sized yard 220K. 😉

Yes that is in a nice development as well.

At least in Northern Alabama.
