I have heard a lot of fuss about this thing and I remember it used to be called Ginger, then IT. I also remember that it's supposed to be revolutionary, according to it's creator and Amazon. I know see it listed in Amazon with a price of $4,950.00. They are taking preorders now and you have to leave a nonrefundable deposit of $495.00 and it will ship in 2003.

What do you think of this machine? I have seen it in action in the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and other places, but this seems like a rip off to me and I don't know why anyone would give so much money for one.

I think it's a toy for idiots with too much money and not enough common sense to fill a thimble. It's like something a moron would buy out of the FAO Schwartz catalog.
 
I agree. I remember all the fuss about this and then when it was revealed what it was, I thought it was one of the most overpriced things ever.
 
It's way overpriced and overhyped. I'm sure it would be cool to screw around with, but not for 5 grand.
