What do you think about the Celtic Cross?

You're black? Huh... Never would have guessed that. I'm a fan of Celtic art in general, and same with old Scandinavian art, which I see some parallels with. I have no particular feelings for the Celtic cross, but for religious symbols, I prefer Thor's hammer.

I love them even though I'm black and not Christian.

It's a shame that the Church of Rome doesn't like it.

And the Roman Catholic Church is 100% correct in this. The traditional cross represents the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The circle is a heresy added by wayward monks in the eigth century. The circle is positioned on Christ's back and represents Christ wearing a canteen during his crucifixion. In the Celtic interpretation of the crucifixion, the Roman soldier supposedly missed piercing Christ's side, as is accepted dogma, instead puncturing the canteen, allowing water to spill out. This explains why Christ whines about being thirsty, His canteen having been drained. Celtic monks were stupid.

I thought it was a fancy cross. That was as far as I have ever put thought into it. I'm thinking about it again now and still coming up with no interest in further thoughts pertaining to or relating to this cross.

Pretty sure he isn't. I seem to remember him posting that he is Asian. I also seem to remember him posting some drivel about his brain/head shape means he is descended from African heritage. Then again, maybe I am remembering wrong.
