What do you think about Hyundai Tiburon 2003, it looks sharp..

Damn! The GT has more displacement than my Probe GT. 2.7L 🙂

I've always like the Tiburon. I wish I could afford to get one...

To me it looks like a Cavalier mixed with a little Celica, Mustang and a V6. I like the look, but it seems to stubby and high off the ground. I like 'em sleek looking. ala Corvette'ish, RX7'ish, etc.

Yeah, definitely a bit porky lookin... looks like a Mustang's porky younger brother. Front wheel drive... oh well.

Everyone else seems to think it smacks of Ferrari 456M.

Personally, I think they're halfway decent looking, & if the performance is decent I'd consider one.

Viper GTS

I see a little bit of Supra, a little bit of Ferrari. And some BMW 3 series treatment to the lower portion of the bumper (especially the fog lights). Not bad bodywise. I heard this car ain't a lightweight either.............

hmm, the automatic has better mileage than the shift stick!

its not a bad lookin car.. 6spd v6 option..

but it'll end up being ~20k~ for a hyundai.. i'd rather save another few grand and get a used m3 🙂

EDIT: Hell i can get a '97 boxster for ~23k~

with the lease on my 323i up in a couple weeks, I went to test drive the new Tiburon. I promptly walked out of the showroom when they informed me of the ground rules for a test drive: 1) no racing (i'm like, "O.K.") 2) no more than 5 miles on the drive total (again I say "Fine") 3) there is a $2,500 upcharge over list price!!! It was at that point (after I stopped laughing at the salesman) that i walked out. BTW, I ended up getting an Acura 3.2 TL. I think I like it even better than the Bimmer I'm about to part with!

Tiburon.... Isint that The Korean word for slow? 😛 anh, somethin about the huge wing of old that turns me off, but the new ones arent too bad..

If it's anything like my Elantra, I say get it. Hyundais have definitly changed their tune. I have 27k + miles on mine and it's not even a year old yet. Give it a test drive. And if the dealer does'nt want to haggle or is giving you a hard time, find another dealer. I got my Elantra for 12.3k out the door. First guy I talked to would'nt budge from 15k. Good luck!

Heh heh...I see a lot of the Supra in it...funny that it took Hyundai 10 years to figure out that Supras look cool 🙂
