What do you talk about when talking to a girl? Im goin with this girl to jr prom and Im pretty shy and i run outa things to talk about fast....i feel stupid what the heck do u talk about with girls??

The problem is that if you start saying to yourself that you are shy and dont know what to talk about you will become self doubting and introspective and self judging so that you will essentially step on your own tongue. Just forget about it. You will either talk or you won't. but focusing on it will only make it worce. Who the hell knows what to talk about with girls. Maybe she will be wondering the same thing. All you have is who you are and what you've experienced and digested and formulated as what you think about life. But you are not going to be a book to be read from beginning to end. You don't have to rehearse. If you can relax and just be, conversation will happen spontaneously as a process of the flow of associations. It may die and start again elsewhere, but the more uptight and self critical you become the less spontaneous you will be able to be. Go to the prom, relax and have fun. Ask your date about herself and be sure to listen. You don't want to let associations happen in such a way that everything she says becomes a chance to talk about you. Nothing wrong with talking about you, just make room for the other person. Now forget everything I said and have fun.

Hehe.. "Days of Our Lives" works. I tried it once, just for fun... (my g/f watches it once in a while, and so I have a vague idea of who the characters are) Of course, YMMV...

You can talk about anything you want with girls, however, most gilrs will not apprecaite conversations on:
1) Electronics
2) Cars
3) BUilding things


I mean, it's really no different than talking to a guy, jsut talk about anything that both of you find interesting.

If you have to ask this question, you're already trying too hard. Take it easy, be yourself, and just talk about whatever comes to mind.

dude, girls are people too... not some alien race. You talk about whatever.

But if you want some advice. Ask her what shes interested in and see if you have any common ones. If you don't, thats ok, ask her what she likes about it. You can also talk about whats going on around you at the moment. For example, you see some guy making a complete idiot of himself on the dance floor... point it out and have a good chuckle about. comment on the cheezy decorations. Compliment your date on how she looks. If you guys are compatible... conversation should come naturally.
Don't get too frustrated if it doesn't. There are just some people you can't talk to... it happens to everyone.
