what do you people do with the retail heatsinks?

i'm assuming that the majority of people who buy retail cpu's don't use the retail hs/f's, so what do you do with them?

used my old K6-2 retail fan for my voodoo3, and my retail athlon fan is apprently being used as a north bridge fan...not sure how the hell that works I haven't seen it yet...I gave it to a friend and he tells me that it's on his chipset....I'm as confused as you...

My retail heatsink for my processor is sitting on my video chipset (Voodoo3). My retail heatsink for my video chipset is sitting on the DSP for one of my hard drives (Maxtor, gets rather hot). The Maxtor didn't come with a heatsink otherwise it'd be on the Bigfoot probably

Good question.The fans I use as h/d coolers,the h/s itself,nothing so far,but I've been watching the hardware forums to maybe be able to utilize something someday.
