It's a blended Canadian whiskey so it's smoother than most bourbons. I actually prefer Canadian Club Classic but both are excellent.
I usually mix my drinks with diet Pepsi. To me diet Pepsi tastes sweeter than regular Pepsi and Coke. I'm not a big soda drinker though.
