i'm not surprised one bit that you like fred thompson... he's really intelligent and isn't dumb whatsoever. he is a forward thinking person and would be a great person to have in the white house.

Common Sense
Not religious (atheist preferred, but that's not gonna happen)
Rationality
Sincere and heartfelt concern for the well being of the nation's middle and lower classes.
Not a shill for the upper classes or corporations but not a socialist either.
Understanding of basic economic issues.
Honesty
Integrity

Issues:

Opponent of mass immigration.
Opponent of foreign outsourcing and work visas.
Supporter of secure borders.
Opponent of the destructive and expensive war on drugs.
Pro-legalized abortion.
Pro-religious freedom.

Progressive - someone who will push for a better society for everyone
Intelligent - someone who is able to conduct him/herself with intelligence and common-sense
Fiscal Conservatism - someone who will cut the majority of "pork-barrel' spending
Social - someone who will rebuild and reintegrate social services and health care nation-wide
