chili
cheese
pastrami
bacon
grilled onions
peppers

all together at this late night eats place. sooooo good when you're drunk at 2am haha good sober too

If they're really good fries: Nothing. Maybe a teeny bit of salt.

If they are average fries I have to use a little bit of pepper, mustard, and a fair amount of catsup & salt.

Once in a blue moon I forgo all that and use malt vinegar. But thats when I am feeling wacky and zany.

I do NOT like gravy or other crazy stuff on my fries. No mayo either. Ick.

Vinegar is great with them, Mustard is also good. Not a big Ketchup fan, but sometimes I do it. Chili & Cheese is awesome w/ them but i can't do that regularly for other reasons 🙂

First and foremost, my fries have to have seasoning salt on it.

As far as toppings:
Ketchup (rarely)
Yellow Mustard (yum)
Chili and Cheese
Barbecue Sauce

Never at the same time of course.

I've had fries with mayo before. It was ok, but I wouldn't eat it like that again.

Chili (loaded with onions cooked in with the chili), cheddar cheese, jalapeños, ground cayenne pepper, well cooked crumbled bacon (extra crispy) with ranch dressing or ketchup as the dipping sauce. It is VERY important to cook the fries hard so that they are extra crispy.

Mayo/Ketchup (together, it doesn't work well alone), and my favorite right now is a Dijonesse (a Mayo with Dijon mustard mixed together).

I'm a fries addict.

Salt and ketchup
Salt and honey mustard
hot mustard (McDonalds type for example)
store bought hot and sweet mustard
chili and cheese fries too

BIG ups to Pat above for the Lawrys props.

I've tried any manner of substance on "french fried potatoes" or "fries" as you call them.

Ketchup
Standard American barrel mustard
Brown mustard
sweet dijon mustard
spicy dijon mustard
mayonnaise, both Miracle whip (ugh! EW!), Kraft (getting there) and Hellman's (MMMM! Now we are talking!)
sweet bbq sauce (like kc masterpiece)
savory bbq sauce (like Kraft original)
A1-sauce in various formats.
Various and sundry hot sauce (cayenne based vinegars, sweet based peppers, all sorts)
Ranch salad dressing, blue cheese dressing, french dressing,
Liquid nacho cheese
shredded cheddar
Jalapenos, jalapeno (juice) from pickled jalapenos
Chick-Fil-A Honey Roasted BBQ. I dunno for what that stuff is originally intended, but damn its good.
Mcdonalds bbq from nuggets, hot mustard, sweet and sour. McD's honey mustard is not palatable.
chili both with and without cheese. Differing variations too from award winning BBQ event chili (at the chili cookoff) to Hormel chili no beans.

Favorites - honestly its usually plain. SOmetimes a vinegar based hot sauce like tabasco and dipped in ranch dressing.

Why have we not risen up cast out this plague of "mayo" *gag vomit* lovers? It is their fault our financial system has collapsed. They are the ones impregnating our teenage crack whore mothers.

They are deviates from man's nature state of grace and must be purged from a good and proper society.
