My favorite part is the freedom that I have 95% of my day because I'm in an "on-call" type position. Also, when we do have a problem, my solutions are rarely second guessed. My least favorite part is when SHTF it's my responsibility to clean up the mess.

I'm curious what other people like about their jobs though. I hear so many complain all the time about them, it (IMO) is becoming less common to hear someone talk about how much they love their job or the company they work for.

I don't like working at night that much. Hard to get 8 continuous hours of sleep during the day. It's not that bad or anything, but probably what I dislike most.

What I like most... the rabbits :D
A whole bunch of rabbits outside at around midnight - 3AM. It's fun to run after them. Although that might be what is drawing the coyotes in the area. 2 attacks already this year, the recent one a 3 year old girl :(

My least favourite: Getting fired for disparaging the company, so I can't say anything else.

Likes: Autonomy, well paid for the required experience/education, great work environment and great group of people, cool management team that isn't constantly up your ass for no reason, business to business instead of serving end users, right now I really love the fact that there is AIR CONDITIONING! :D

dislikes: some people just do a really lackluster job. the structure of things while beneficial in some ways, in the long run promotes the loss of some good people.

All in all, a 9/10 compared to my several previous jobs.

Like: Great company, lots of parties, massages on Fridays, lunch every other week, I'm the only guy in office of 9 women (most of which are attractive), good benefits, free cell phone, get off work early, beautiful location, and fun atmosphere.

Dislike: Hours (I come in at 5:30am to be ready for the market to open at 6:30), I only work 30 hours per week, can be stressful when crap breaks, and getting calls on the weekend.
