Very cool. I'd love to play those, but I'm not very good at music. A full set of uilleanns are amazing to listen to though. I've wanted to hear someone use them in a non Irish musical setting. With the right mic setup, and some digital effects, it would sound great as a synth replacement for electronic music.

How come you got out of playing?

The pipes were an expensive investment, both in terms of money and time. I ran out of both during college, not to mention the fact that the pipes are loud and especially obnoxious in the hands of a beginner (even without drones and resonators). Neighbors weren't appreciative.

A pretty awesome instrument, though. I would take it up again given the chance.
