Howard Stern, these posts are quite distasteful and useless. I have seen your attitude towards the Afghani's in other threads and it made me feel sick. I have been very close to giving you an ear-full, you are really testing my nerve. Please be more compassionate to fellow human beings who have done you no harm.

I know that it is much less than 50%. The Taliban is more or less a dictatorship. The vast majority of Afghani's despise the Taliban. There is an anti-Taliban army with 15,000 troops. They are situated in the south I believe, the last remaining anti-Taliban area.

No, they are located in the north. They aren't called the Northern Alliance for nothing . They are the recognized government of Afganistan and they have already promised to support the west with 20.000 troops.

aww, hes some harmless 12 year old kid trying to be like his namesake. Ignore him, thoughI'm surprised he hasn't been banned, since I've never seen any posts by him that were in any way, shape, or form, constructive.

I think we should be as compassionate to the Taliban as the terrorists were to the World Trade Center on Sept 11, 2001.

my gosh... i can see why people would get upset with my first post... but stating that they won't last long under full attack is just a statement bearing little if any negative tone.

The people of afghan... are some of the poorest in all the world.. their country has been torn by civil war and wars with russia for the past 20-30 years. There is nothing but craters and moutains...
We wouldn't be able to bomb them back to the stone age becuase they are already there!
