definitely worth it, especially if you're in school. All my documents are on one little item, so when I have to print, its a breeze. Got a PNY 512MB for $40 at best buy.

I bought mine and put some school stuff on it, then someone stole it along with my backpack the next day (long story), so now I don't really have one. But I planned on using it to backup all my files and some of my mp3's.

Recently cleaned it out, but used to be my "Pwnage on a Stick" - rootkits for various *nix distros & Windows versions :D

i have a 512MB drive so i keep files and software that will recover a computer that has been jacked up with viruses or spyware.
