Heh, well, I'm kind of serious. We have a few cans of old beans and stuff,
and a pack of ramen noodles, and I guess I could go find some change, and
walk down to get something to eat (TS Allison claimed my car, no insurance, had
to quit my job).

I've got $225 in the bank, $365 in checks. That's $590. I have a $250 power
bill (last month's check bounced by $1) and $277 in rent. That leaves me $63.
Then I have a cable modem bill which is $90, and the phone bill which will be
about $40, leaving me with $-67. My roomate is flat ass broke, he can't
pay his share of the rent (due on the 5th) or any bills. Ahhhh.........

Sorry, had to vent.

Hopefully I can go offshore soon. It's gonna get worse before it gets better.

Sorry. Well, at least I feel better now

PS, yes, I realize that I'm actually not very bad off compared to some people. I'm
not complaining, just venting...

Chaotic42 - I really hope things get better for you soon, how the heck do you have a $250 electric bill? Why is your cable modem $90? If I were that strapped for cash I'd say screw cable TV and broadband internet, a $90 a month savings is pretty substantial. You do have a 56k modem, right?

I paid last month's bill, but it was for $109. I only had $108 in the bank, so
my check bounced. It got added to this month's bill.

Well, cable TV comes with the apartment, and my cable modem bill is $45/mo. It's
actually not that bad. I've been fine up until this month.

Heh, nope.

I'm really appreciative of ya'lls concert, but I'll be ok. I'd be fine if my
roommate wasn't broke, but since I have the money to pay his share for now, I have
to do just that.

Anyway, isn't this thread about food, and not my problems?
