naw dont need one, I have Comcast HD, useing the DT5600 (I think thats the model number) I just connected it to my computer via Firewire, and used VLC to view all HD channels in 5.1 and able to record content too. im good

i think just an audigy2 zs and a nic. i have a usb/firewire adapter taking up once of the back openings but it doesn't actually use the pci slot
