What do you guys use to play MP3's on your computer?

better for you does not mean better for everyone, itunes as a program for windows is a pile of shit only surpassed by real player.

for replaying music, winamp (classic) and foobar are as simple as you can get

the only reason i use winamp is because im too lazy to look into skinning foobar to be how i want it to be

I just use Pandora. All I do with my mp3's other than let them collect digital dust in a folder is put them on my mp3 player and hook that up to my car.

I'm too lazy for playlists and downloads, and the Pandora sidebar app for Vista takes care of that for me.

I hate itunes so I use winamp, mostly because, like Anubis, I am too lazy to customize Foobar. I have Foobar, but I don't like using something that I haven't customized yet.

WMP at work for simplicity, but only with the right skin. I currently use "Microtask" but I also like "thestick2." Most WMP skins are ginormous and annoying. I just need simple controls.

no i dislike its bloat, its interface, its limited file formats, that its invasive and that fact that its a library based player

WMP. It works great since I store all music on my WHS so I don't even have to worry about it since it links all the libraries together for me since I use windows 7 too. Works well with homegroups.

They kind of pissed me off when they dropped Linux support. I didn't use it much anyway, but dropping Linux made me disinclined to really give it a go.

iTunes. I still haven't found the perfect media player yet, but for me, iTunes is as close as I can get.

The one good thing I have to say about Songbird is that at least it doesn't suck as much as it used to. It's still slow as heck and it still tries to do too many things at the same time. At least it has video support now, but what I really want is easy podcast support, which isn't there, and responsiveness, which really isn't there either. It's good, and it's becoming better, but it just isn't good enough.

I use MusicMatch Jukebox ver. 7.3. It worked great and manages large collections. It's no longer supported.

I think I'm going to move on to Media Monkey paid edition.

I think you want a quick and easy MP3 Player. Do this. Go to oldversion.com and download an old simple Winamp. Today's Winamp is huge, slow and clumsy IMHO. The old versions were fast for click and play.

Older versions of Winamp have exploitable security flaws. Personally, I wouldn't use anything but the latest. Of course, I wouldn't use Winamp at all. There's better players imo.
