You said CS information systems. Is that more of an MIS type degree than a true CS degree?

Reality check: your degree doesn't specify your career.

I have a BS in CS and I'm a Sys Admin and Point of Sale installer.

If he has hopes of being a Sys Admin or doing network support you have to start somewhere. This job is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and get some good hands on training that you wouldn't get in a class room. It pays pretty well for what it is too.

I might like to have a conversation with you then. :) Do you have AIM so maybe we can talk sometime? Thanks.

Also, I would like to know how I go about actually going to these interviews without completing my degree program until this spring? I'm sorry, I'm just so new to this and don't want to make a big mistake.

And, who should I put as my references? Should I ask professors or just put basic friends or other people? All I know is from getting a job as a high schooler I put friends, but don't feel it's right for this type of work. LMK what you think.

Seriously now, how many entry level jobs for fresh graduates make you go OMFG!!!! This job is sooooooooo cool!!!! It's the best job ever!!!!

Not many.

There are a finite number of "elite" jobs available to those with entry level experience. Very, very few people have the luck, expertise, or connections to land them their dream job fresh out of college.

it sounds good to me because it handles a variety of stuff and not just boring programming etc.
It also sounds good since it looks like a job which does NOT require to sit at a phone all day and 'give' phone-support.
I'd apply for it.
