<< I agree with notfred. Most of the people in your pics (e.g. bodybuilder and superman/hulk) look like they have no skin, even though Superman is wearing his outfit. There are way too many veins and the muscles are way too well defined. Take a look at some real people sometime. Try and make your people look more like the Phoenix you drew Muscles look smooth on people. You can make things look much more realistic with a more subtle rendering of muscles and veins.
The Bruce Lee one is almost perfect in this regard. His face and most of his body look incredibly real. (Keep in mind though, he's Bruce Lee, one of the buffest guys EVER.) I still think you overdid it with the veins on his right arm. Nobody has that many veins that are that big on their forearms. From your drawing, he's got 5 SUPERFICIAL veins on the front of his arm that are all HUGE. Gigantic veins are rarely superficial. The body's major arteries and veins are well hidden under muscles. The veins on the front of the forearm, while they do tend to stick out a lot, are not nearly so large as you've drawn them. They usually tend to look like details in comparison with the larger terrain of the muscles. The veins on Bruce's chest, shoulders, and upper arms are pretty much perfect IMO. Even the left arm is quite natural looking. The right one, on the other hand (no pun intended) looks like he's got gigantic worms crawling under his skin or something.
Of course, I realize that these are drawings, and as such, are idealized to some extent. While I have no problem with that, I think that you take the veins and stuff to an extreme, and the persons portrayed almost become caricatures because of that. You've got great skill, though. As I said, the Bruce Lee face is really really awesome. You've got subtlety throughout his neck, chest, abdomen, shoulders.... everywhere except for that right arm. Other than that, it looks like a photograph. Somewhat off topic, I really like the snakes on the mummy drawing. >>
WOW! That's a long quote. Alright I'll keep what you said in mind. But I like drawing lots of muscles and viens, I feel it makes my drawings more interesting. Plus viens are hard to draw, especially the shading part of it.
