I got a Plextor CD-RW and an IBM hard drive from them .. good price , packaging, but takes them few days to ship, so you will get it a week later even thought they charge $15 for fedex ... but good service ...

They do have good prices, but returns with them are a nightmare.

I'd say stay away from Comp-U-Plus unless your willing to take a chance.

another vote to stay away from them here. they do have good prices but nail you on the shipping and handling. i ordered my first socket A mobo and duron with HSF from them, took them 2 weeks to get it to me even though i paid for 2 day service. took me another week to get my refund for the fee i paid for their "speedy" service. also check their reseller rating at resellerrating.com and you will see they have bad report there.

Chock up another "stay away". I ordered a hard drive from them a year ago and their shipping and handling costs were ridiculous. And to make matters worse, the 2 day shipping that I paid for actually ended up being 3 day ground (actually 5 day because of the weekend which was the reason I wanted it 2 day to begin with). I called them up and said they owed me some money back for providing different shipping than what I paid for. The b!tch on the phone had a real attitude problem and wasn't willing to do anything until I told her that I will dispute the entire purchase through my credit card company. Outcome = $5 refund for shipping charge and lost a customer for life. On another topic, stay away from Shop 4 Digital. They are liars, thieves, jerks, crooks, etc. My 2c.

They used to always seem to have good prices in the Computer Shopper magazine, and on line, but after you finished filling out your order, you would THEN find out what shipping was.

They seem to rip you a new one on shipping. I just think companies should charge what they need to charge on the item, and then give reasonable shipping. WIth the internet, it is not hard to figure out how much UPS ground or FEDEX 2-day costs from zip code 11111 to zip code 55555. So, I don't know who these companies think they're fooling on the shipping!!

lol, i know what you mean, find a good price then sometimes you have to fill out all your information all to find out that you are paying 15 dollars shipping no matter what, gimme a break!!! heh
