I think a naval piercing can look sexy, but almost every girl has one now. Try to think of something that is subtle that nobody or very few people have.

I have a thing about stomach scars/wounds, so I would not personally. I would live in fear of catching it on something or getting infected, even if it is unlikely. As for other women, if you are in good shape there and feel it would be attractive to you as well as to your husband, go for it!

they draw attention to the belly so you generally have to wear a crop top to get noticed and since they draw attention, you need to keep the belly very flat

Personally I think it can look sexy, provided you have the right figure for it (flat tummy). Of course, why not get one of those navel clippy thingies instead of a piercing at first. Hubby happy 'cause he likes the way it looks, you don't have to go do anything painful. If you decide you like it and want something more permanent, then go for it.

Definitely not something reserved for 'sluts or whores' though......

A navel piercing would otherwsie suggest a need to be younger than you are. I would (do ) find you more attractive without.
