I think I'm going to give it to Goodwill along some other old hardware. IDE cables, NIC cards, 56K modem. Good idea?

No. Because then they'll sell it. And I buy hardware at the Goodwill from time to time, and it PISSES ME OFF SEVERELY to pay $3 for a broken monitor (Mostly because I had to lug the damn thing around).

If you're going to give it away, give it to me. I'll pay shipping.

I donate mine to the local StRUT (Students Recycling Used Technology) program. I was a member of that program in high school about two years back. When the Northwoods were coming out we were amazed to see a Pentium 2 because the majority of our hardware was 386SX (SX is for SuX). I recently gave a fried A7V266-E to them so the students who couldn't afford their own computer hardware would at least know what a DDR slot looked like.

Cremate it like they did Qui-Gon and Anakin, then bury its remains in a shrine for dead PC parts.

You could probably sell it. I'm sure someone could easily replace the PS/2 ports. If not send it to me. I could use the spare compassitors!

HAHA I have a busted EATX serverboard. If I did that I could just wear it as a shirt.

it's art

is that a santa cruz hanging on your wall? :|

edit: and what video card is that? it's probably better than what I'm using right now.
The sound card is a Sound Blaster Live! and the video card is a GeForce3 Ti 200.
I collect all sorts of broken parts and luckily for me one of my friends has a tendency to damage relatively new parts (the GF3 had a heat sink dropped on it).

Send it to me. We hang things on our wall. Currently have motherboard, old hard drive board, 2.5" hard drive opened, most opened, QueCat opened. Gets lots of comments on our artwork here in the office.
