Paramedic/Firefighter on a small municipal fire deprtment for 24 years....
It doesn't pay a lot, but after 24 years, I still look forward to going to work every shift :)

Securitization manager for a top10 bank. If you aren't familiar with Securitization, it's the process of bringing assets that will pay money in the future, such as car loans, mortgages, and credit cards, and selling them to bring those cashflows into the present. Creating bonds backed by the assets, which pay principal and interest when the borrowers pay their monthly statements.

Fun stuff, a very interesting part of finance.

Currently in my senior year of highschool (focusing on mechanical or electrical engineering in university), though I continue my summer job of working with a fire protection (fire sprinklers et al) company on the weekends.


Edit: A tip for you corporate bastards - the sprinklers set themselves off, and if one goes you don't wanna be near it - the water is likely not a portable supply, and the pipes are ordinary steel - it comes out more of a rusty-tar type of deal.
