<< speeding, smoking pot, jaywalking come to mind. >>

jaywalking was my first guess, but then reading down further, i saw the software piracy...and that sounds like it'd probably be it....i've done that more times than i've jaywalked!!

Gotta be people spitting on the sidewalk in CA. Every time I visit CA I see more people doing it, and apparently it's been illegal (public health violation) for year

Add underage drinking and that would be my list.

Just visit a college campus and you'll see all three broken within minutes.

Another vote for speeding. Even here in florida with all the wrinklies everyone is speeding on every road 24/7/365

its speeding. Think about, anyone who's ever driven a car has exceeded the speed limit. It happens all day every day, and those of you who say smoke weed, thats not even close. sure like 8 of ten kids try it, but how many do it habitually, day after day? maybe 1 or 2 in 10. As for speeding, anyone who owns a car does it every time they get on a main road...

all three? Hmm....what college you go to again 😉

Speeding closely followed by the inconsiderate f_cksticks that litter when they flick their cigarette butts out the window.

Thou shalt not covet

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

🙂

Ok, WHICH laws do you have in mind?

It's not the smoker's fault. Blame the car manufacturers who don't think to include ashtrays in 90% of their new cars. Where else are you supposed to flick it if you have no ashtray?

for anybody that drives a car, its speeding by FAR

for non-drivers

um,, hmmmm,,

well, ................

i dunno 😕

I would say speeding. It is almost impossible to drive at or below the speed limit on a So. Cal. freeway in the slow lane without some moron tailgating you, trying to get you to go faster, even when you're just keeping up with the car in front of you at a safe distance.

Assumes facts not in evidence. No crime, here.

I've NEVER seen a car without an ashtray. I lighter yes, but an ashtray no.

New Saturns do not come with ashtrays. I don't believe it's even offered as an option. Some new Hondas also do not come with an ashtray. They are available as a $60 or so option. Most of the newer cars being sold these days don't come standard with an ashtray.

No sense of humour here (somebody missed the "🙂" ) . . . however, it is a FACT that the nation of Israel did have these commandments as LAWS. And many people claim to live by them TODAY . . . blasphemy is a crime to them.

The 10 Commandments refer to "thouight crimes" - not coveting anything of your neigbbor (Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house; . . . nor his ass, nor anything that is his. ) as well as lying and stealing (which are pretty universally broken).

Many of today's Western laws are based on the Biblical 10 commandments (whether we like it or not).

Speaking of the Church, what do you think the answer would be if the thread question were posted on the Catholic website?
