What do you figure American Express does with products that you return to them under their Return Protection program?

I am returning to them a wireless router that the retailer will no longer take back because it is beyond their return period.

I wonder what American Express does with the items returned to them......hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Probalbly pile up in an unclaimed freight warehouse, then they have a sale/auction. There is one in my town (Cheyenne, Wy.) but I've never been there.

Probably have them refurbished and sold

sold where?

on ebay

i can't wait until i get a legitimate answer

Right...so you expect a bunch of internet geeks to know? Refurbishing and reselling them on sites dealing with that sort of thing is a logical explanation. Lets see you come up with a more "legitimate" answer

Probably put them on paletts and sell them to wholesale places to go through. Those folks test them, sort them, then sell them by palette to other folks who sell them at flea markets/eBay. That's my guess.
