What do you eat at work?

This is a good Q. Most people I know eat out every lunch and usually just eat low end fast food (i.e. taco bell, Carls Jr, etc.).

I wish I had the time/intelligence to bring a decent lunch from home.

sounds pretty boring.

we have a bunch of restaurants / take-out / delivery places around my office, so there's always a pretty big variety of places to call.

I don't brown bag lunch, though. I either get something delivered or don't eat at all at work.
 
eat out every meal. usually in a week:

Quizno's/Subway
Sushi
Local Deli
And then a couple of restaurants for meetings.
 
I don't know if it's a study I read or just my oppinion from 30 years as a Chef but, I believe that if a pill existed which met all our nutritional needs and kept you from being hungry, 90% of Americans would take the pill and not eat.

Thank God for the other 10 percent!

I'd do that for lunch at work but certainly no other time!

I usually take a sandwich
 
Every day lunch:
1 turkey sandwich with 1 piece of lettuce and mustard
1 granny smith apple
1 can of diet soda
1 container of carrots (about a handful)

Yuck.

Let me guess... You poop pure liquid, and everyone in the office shuns you since your farts smell so goddamned bad?
 
I usually eat two 10" deli subs spaced during the day. I'd like to have protein shakes, but they are too difficult to make at work. Id also like to bring my own lunch, but im too lazy most of the time.
 
Usually make myself sandwiches. Typically Havarti cheese, spinach, tomato, and a sandwich meat. I'm using liverwurst right now.
 
Soups, microwave dinners, etc.

Too many cakes, chips, candy bar, etc. Damned old bastages always bringing in chips and salsa and candy. Friend is always getting the two for one special at Hardee's in the morning and bringing one for me (sausage and egg biscuit! 😱 ).
 
I have started to bring a microwaveable main dish. Can get a bag of chips/nuts/candy as well as drinks to have with it out of the no-pay vending machines.
