Eeeeeeeeeewww!! Cottage cheese. My wife eats that...and often uses it as her salad's base instead of lettuce. Nasty. :)

usually sandwiches but a lot of times I'll make enough the night before to have leftovers and I'll just bring those in.

I eat a lot of tuna.

Just mayo or do you get creative? I occasionally use mustard just to make it a little more "fat friendly" but even that gets old after a while. :)

Tom

Man I got to a point where mayo/mustard just wasn't cutting it any more so I thought I'd try some things. There's some obvious things you can do like lemon juice, but the most surprising find for me was salsa. We had breakfast burritos from sonic one morning and some leftover salsa packets. I thought what the hell and man it ended up being the best of all the tuna friendly condiments.

Believe it or not, but ranch dressing(fat free if you wish) is pretty good in tuna

Leftovers from dinner the previous night. I split up what I bring and have the other half as my afternoon snack, around 325 calories

Stir fry vegies w/ some chicken and rice. Also a variety of sandwiches... Spaghetti w/ sauce... Salads... that pretty much covers it.

That's another thing I do often... though I really don't know how many calories or anything.

healthy stuff = pricey stuff ... I ate fast food all the time... dollar menu or tacos... came out to < $5 per meal so it was acceptable. I know I won't be able to do that the rest of my adult life... but I'm at home these days so I have a lot more options. I just George Foreman'd 5 hotdogs...

hmm.

if you don't have a fridge, i'd suggest getting one of those thermal bags and getting two ice packs. it will help to keep your food cold. at least you can have some variety by bringing cold food, like salads or even sushi. (make your own, and not raw stuff. i'd make stuff like avocado rolls or cucumber or wannabe california rolls)

sucks there's no fridge or microwave. i think i'd go nuts. i love bringing leftovers or other random food.

Since I get an hour for lunch, I usually go out to a restaurant with some co-workers.

Wow, I have an Atlanta Bread on the way to work and I live in Tennessee too! :p

Not Nashville by any chance?

Heh, not anymore. Unfortunately I'm back in Knoxville for awhile. I really miss Nashville and I guess that's why I'm back out there at least once a month.

Meh, Knoxville is better than Nashville any day of the week. Of course, I'm talking about downtown and the UTK campus and surrounding area.

Right now I eat Pasta Anytimes at work...mmm, I love pasta.

I usually eat a large meal at 730am to fuel me to 5pm when I go home. Then I start dinner.
