Right now: 2000 Honda CRV (small SUV).

Future: new Lexus RX or Acura MDX. I sure like to have a small sports car beside the SUVs. I used to have a Honda Prelude and still missed it.

Many cars I'd love to have... I WILL be getting a 75-79 VW Westfalia at some point. I'd also like to have a Karmann Ghia, and a 70s Nissan/Datsun Z Car. Of course, I could go on, and on, and on...

Works well for me. Reliable, tolerant of rough driving, mid 15's in the 1/4 at around 90MPH, can haul almost everything I'd ever want to haul. (anything else and I have family w/ diesels) Handles better than you'd expect a truck to handle.

i drive
'97 Saturn SC-1 on hot days (it has A/C)
'90 Mazda Protege on cold days (it doesn't have A/C, well, it is broken and not worth fixing on a beater car)

these cars are fine until they blow up

when i get to buy a new commuter car, i want a diesel, so i'll probably get a GTI or whatever those diesel cars are that are so cool/popular. that will probably be somewhere around 2007-2009

89 F-250 extended cab (farm truck paid for)
97 ford escort (wife's work car paid for)

we are thinking of trading in the escort and get her a newer mini-van. either a grand caravan or a freestar. well one of the ones with the hide away seats.
I want a newer truck but doubt i get it. bah

Realistic "dream" car is an Element.
Unrealistic "dream" car: G-Class Benz or maybe Land Rover Defender 110. Can you tell I have a penchant for square cars?
