This is something I kick myself about - I really _should_ sell them as soon as I stop using them, instead they sit in the cupboard till they lose all their resale value but I still can't bring myself to throw them away. Some I end up using in a frankencomputer made out of old bits, for no good reason.

I usually sell them. I have an 8800GTS512 sitting here I should sell, but I keep thinking I'll use it for a PhysX card, even though I know it's useless for any games I play. I always think it's best to get rid of them while they still hold some value.

I try to keep one cheap old one around for testing purposes, I even have a couple old agp cards around for the heck of it.

I pass them on.
even a Geforce Ti4400 beats most integrated stuff these days. so its still an upgrade.

If the video card can still run modern games, I move it down the line to the next computer. For older video cards, I toss it into spare part box as I have quite a number of older computers at my business. The really archaic ones gets sent for recycling at the nearest depot.

I've never bothered to sell anything I've used. Usually it all ends up being given to family. With the family not really needing new GPU's E bay might be a good alternative... or something more 'creative.' I have always wondered what happens to the things when put through true hell.

Sell them. I usually buy high-end cards (or close to it) thus when I replace them a year later it's still a good buy for others - especially for my friends who tend to snatch them up at bargain prices...

All of the above. I end up keeping a few when resale value isn't high enough to justify shipping/hassle. Yet other times I would sell it for cheap or give away to my friends / cousin.

I move them to other computers and then some I make clocks out of them.

I had a friend looking at a few of them and he was surprised at the Monster 3D card I was using as a clock.

I told him "It's time was up"

Keep them or sell to my older brother if I can.

I still have an 8800GTS 320mb that I keep as a backup card. Come to think of it, it's overkill for that. However, if for some reason I RMA my main card it'll still be able to play all games on high w/ no AA.

x850xt,x1800 xt x1900xt ,4850 all sitting around since its not worth anything.

Ughh, you need to sell 'em and profit. I have been looking for x850 or 1800 cards, especially AGP ones, to use to upgrade older customer PCs. You guys need to try out the FS/FT forum to help out some guys in need of older cards.
