The only videocard I gave saved is my 64MB 3Dfx Voodoo5-5500 AGP. I expect it to be worth quite a bit as the years go by.🙂

I weep like a lost child when I think about the good ole days of 3dfx. I too still have my 5500 agp, Its alive and well still gaming in a POS duron system.

A little bit of everything depending on the card.

sell em - the cards that are actually still valuable and gameworthy.
give em away - cards that are useful, but not worth much. I will often trade a card in this category for one in the next category. Usually, if I wait long enough, I will get back a card in a trade that I previously sold the same individual.
keep em - cards that are worthless except as a backup, especially PCI cards.

Creepy. Do you taxidermy your dead pets?
I think that he forgot to mention - his pet Aardvark is holding the V1 in that frame too...
(or should that be 'aardwolf'?)

Sell or give away. The only two video cards I still keep for sentimental purposes is my Creative 12mb V2 SLI.

..wall art. Somebody out here posted a pic of a wall covered in old motherboards and pci cards. Had a strange alien appearance.

I save them for my kids. The 6 year-old has a ATI 7500 AIW, the 10 year-old has a PNY ti 4600, and the 11 year-old has a SUMA FX 5900. I also have a 1 week-old that doesn't have a computer yet.

I multi monitored with some old pci cards and at one point had 4 monitors hooked up. fun but annoying with different sized screens.

Sell them on ebay or something. You can always get lucky and find people that have been looking for that specific card.

Or keep it.. you never know when u might need it.

For shame!!! (Kidding about that, but seriously, do babies < 1 yr old, find computers interesting? Do they send baby-talk IMs to all of their newborn friends?)

one word, ebay. It's the only place where people actually pay well for last gen cards. I got my 9700 pro for free because I sold my 5700u for so much on ebay.
