Got my cable modem 3 months ago..Right now I mainly use it to play starcraft, Counter Strike, check email, AIM, AOL, most of the time on AnandTech...
 
AIM, ICQ, Anand,... constant DL of MV's, Music, and it's much moer handy when installing stuff cause the updates and river DL's and such are WAY faster... i can't imagine ever updaraping IE on a modem ever again

forgot to include Moviez, MP3z, and pretty much everything else ending in Z. 😉
