What do you do with dead computer components?

I only throw it away if it's old, cheap, and broken. If it's old but good quality, like an old sun machine, then I think it's a pity to destroy it. If it's new and working cheap crap someone can find a use for it. If it's new and good but broken I can raid it for parts.
