What do you do to wake up in the morning?

Caffeine doesn't work for me, nor does sugar. I chugged a vault before class this morning and still fell asleep. I tried an apple because I read that helps you wake up, too, and no luck.

Perhaps more sleep would be an alternative?

I run a couple miles every morning. That along with showering and coffee gets me moving in the morning.

If you don't already, try going to bed around the same time each night, and try to wake up around the same time too.

Amphetamines.
(God I love the pharmaceutical lobby)

Not necessary though, once I hop out of bed I'm up.

Bingo.

Do that EVERY night. Even weekends. Soon, you'll find that if you do that, even 6 hours of sleep will be plenty and you'll rarely (if ever) be tired again.

nothing special. after some time, it becomes habbit and now i wake everyday at 6 whether i want to or not. and for the nights that i go to sleep late, i put my phone on maximum volume and put the alarm no that annoying yet loud standard nokia ring. i also usually drink tea in the morning on days that i'm tired.

Vault? Kid's stuff. Go up to your favorite coffee shop and order a triple espresso to go. Wait about 5 minutes for it to cool, then slam the whole thing. It will pretty much wreck your world.

If you don't get enough rest, your body (if it isn't great shape to begin with) is going to fail you no matter what you do.

I've also heard that sleep is a great way to make you not tired. OP should test this theory.
