what are some good things i can do to sort of clean up the files on my computer.

For Example, i usually do a defragment every once and a while, i will also deleted my Windows/Prefetch files. Also, i often delete my internet cookies.

what else can i do? what do you guys do?

CCleaner is excellent.

The best cleaner (in addition to other functions) I've found is Ace Utilities (30-day full-featured demo, $25 to purchase).

Both have been perfectly 'safe' in my experience.

Hope this helps!

In order: Windows Anti-Spyware(now known as Defender), Spybot, Ad-Aware, Regrestry mechanic, CCleaner, Anti-Vir, Disk Clean up, then any extra 1's.

With CC Cleaner what is safe to delete ? ? It has a lot of choices and I don't want it to say inadvertently
remove say a reference to a prorgam uninstaller or possibly saved web site info

Does it have an Undo Featue ? ? probably not
